Since 2016, the JC JoyAge Project has trained more than 800 seniors to support those in the community who are suffering from depression or at risk of depression.
This book is a collection of the experiences of the "Age with Friends" who have participated in the project over the years, and provides a wealth of case sharing and the relationship between the "Age with Friends" and the elderly in the cases, so as to help the elderly volunteers cope with and care for the elderly with emotional distress more effectively. In addition, the book also emphasizes the importance of mental health and encourages elderly volunteers to pay attention to their own mental state and health while taking care of others.
