Jin Daiqiang's heart trail
Born in a small village in Panyu, Guangdong, Jin Daiqiang went to Guangzhou to study as a teenager, and soon came to Hong Kong, starting as an apprentice and starting a history of struggle in life. From his apprentice tailoring career to becoming an internationally renowned design master, his struggles encompass all sorts of twists and turns. He was a member of the group who emigrated to Hong Kong from the mainland in the 50s of the last century, and his footprints are a testament to Hong Kong's development over the past decades.
Jin Daiqiang told his own story, and also took us from the small village of Panyu to Guangzhou, to Hong Kong, to the world, and then back to the road of development in the mainland. Let's see the growth and development of the design masters and these places over the decades.
