The author, Wu Jianbin from the mainland, has lived and worked in Hong Kong for 37 years and has experienced many important moments in this cosmopolitan city. A keen photographer, he captures the livelihood of Hong Kong in the 27 years from the handover in 1997 to 2024, and a large number of photos are selected by the famous curator Na Risong according to the preciousness and artistic profit of more than 200 photos in this photo album.
Through these images, which freeze the historical moments, the author reflects the characteristics of Hong Kong people who are industrious, hardworking, loveful, romantic, free, optimistic and flexible, as well as the social outlook of Hong Kong, which blends Chinese and Western cultures.
