Chinese Culture and Daily Life
"Culture is a part of life, and life cannot be without culture."
This book is a collection of academic essays by Lee Cheuk Ran, a senior professor at the Institute of Asian Studies at the University of Brunei, which is light-hearted and interesting, connecting the past and the present. The book is divided into two parts, the first part explores the interweaving and influence of Chinese culture and Southeast Asia, and the second part is a deep reflection on tradition and modernity, from the dialogue between ancient emperors and modern business management, traditional festivals and cultural innovations in the new era. In the field of art, this book discusses the creation of New Year paintings and the works of three painters, Chen Jianpo, Liu Jude and Zhong Shuheng, and explores the vitality and adaptability of traditional culture in modern society.
In this rapidly changing era, this book is not only a review of the past, but also a reflection and expectation of the future, hoping to stimulate more people's interest and exploration of Chinese culture.
