Fundamentals of Hong Kong Law (3rd Edition) (Revised Edition)
The book is divided into 18 chapters, providing a comprehensive introduction to the entire legal system of Hong Kong, including the legal system, procedural law, evidence law, constitutional law, administrative law, criminal law, contract law, tort law, real estate law, real estate conveyancing and tenancy law, trust law, inheritance law, family law, intellectual property law, commercial law, business organization law, employment law, tax law, and even civil and commercial matters involving the Mainland. Accurate and concise explanations based on typical cases should help readers enhance their knowledge of the law.
Since its publication in 1999, the book has been reprinted several times. On the basis of the third edition, in response to the major changes in Hong Kong's political development and legal system in recent years, Chapter 3 of the Constitutional Law has been substantially revised, while the remaining chapters remain unchanged and will be updated in the fourth edition. Appendices at the end of the book, "Keywords (English-Chinese)" and "List of Websites Related to Hong Kong's Law and Legal System", are available for readers' reference and further reading.
