Flower Hunt 2: a Codex of Hong Kong Native Plants (Revised Edition)
There are about 2100 species of native plants in Hong Kong, some of which are new species that have not been recorded elsewhere before, and some of which are endemic to Hong Kong. These plants, which were first discovered and recorded in Hong Kong, can be seen as soon as we step out of our homes and walk up the hill. "Flower Hunt" and Flower Hunt 2" depict a total of 100 species of native plants in Hong Kong, all of which were found in the mountains of Hong Kong by the author Human Ip. Different from the textbook-style botanical illustrated book, Human recorded the plants he encountered on the mountain when hiking, and went home to read the classics, from the ancient "Classic of Mountains and Seas" to the "Classic of Poetry", "Chu Ci", "Shennong Bencaojing", "Bencao Gangmu" etc., to find the traces of Hong Kong's native plants, and to describe the discovery process, habits and uses of each native plant in Hong Kong in a concise text.
