This book is the first comprehensive introduction to self-regulated learning in Hong Kong. It combines Western theoretical research with Eastern practical wisdom to explain the classroom organization and developmental strategies of self-regulated learning.
This book is divided into two parts: the first part is about the components, operation methods and related theories of the four-study framework of self-regulated learning, as well as the lastest discussion of the relationship between generative artificial intelligence (AI) and self-regulated learning. The second part is a collection of real cases applying the four-study framework promoting self-regulated learning in local primary and secondary schools supported by the author. It provide a better understand of the diverse development of self-regulated learning in school with different backgrounds and learning stages.
