Gimpel the Fool
The Chinese University of Hong Kong Press
The book includes nine works by three United States Jewish writers. Five of the Nobel Prize-winning works by Singer are occult, sneaky, and open to questions of life and death. The three Malamod stories have their usual depictions of the suffering of the Jews, and the stories also contain "reconciliation" and "forgiveness", gently and heavily, reconciling with oneself or others, and reconciling with the decision to "make one mistake into a thousand hatreds". Phila. Rove's insanely absurd, with a lighter historical baggage, is another aspect of Jewish writers.
