Music of the Times
Composers, performers, music critics, music anecdotes, in short, all kinds of classical music, in Henry Shiu's pen, all have their charm. These words observe the various states of living beings and restore the brilliance of classical music as an art. The works reviewed may be distant or near, and the characters may be elegant or vulgar, but they can all communicate with the current situation, allowing readers to reflect themselves. What we read is no longer just information and evaluation about a piece of music or a musician, but the historical and cultural context of its entire composition, and sometimes even political motivations. He writes about classical music, but he goes beyond classical music to guide readers through the art beyond the musical notes.
